Quick Start

1. Download the installer for your platform above
2. Install the app
   • macOS: Open the DMG, drag to Applications. If blocked, right-click and select "Open"
   • Windows: Run the EXE installer. If SmartScreen warns, click "More info" then "Run anyway"
   • Linux: Make AppImage executable (chmod +x) and run, or install .deb with sudo dpkg -i
3. Launch HeroJournal and set up your profile (name, role, review period)
4. Create your first achievement - Click the + button and describe something you accomplished
5. Try the Altitude Framework - Write descriptions for different audiences:
   • Peers: Technical details
   • Manager: Outcomes and impact
   • Skip Level: Org priorities
   • Leaders: One-sentence summary
6. Explore features - Try exports, AI suggestions, date filtering, and more
